The “E-Learning and Web Applications for ADR Driver Training Project” supported by the Turkish National Agency is an Erasmus+ Key Action 2 (Strategic Partnership for Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices) project numbered 2017-1-TR01-KA202-45935.
The project partnership is coordinated by Pamukkale University. The project partners are Turkish Federation of Commercial Drivers and Vehicle Owners (TŞOF) (Turkey), Training 2000 (Italy), CNA Associazione Provinciale di Pesaro e Urbino (Italy), MAG Prenner & Partner GmbH (Austria) and SUPSI (Switzerland).
The ADR projects’ main objective is to develop a common training path for ADR (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) drivers in Europe and integrate the training with mobile technology and innovative training methods for ADR drivers. The working situation of the drivers requires flexible solutions that do not force the training activity to be carried out in a specific place or time. Innovative methods and tools, such as mobile learning, can be more efficient for training professional drivers and increase the motivation and participation of this specific target group.
For this purpose, partner will design and pilot new training opportunities for ADR drivers to establish an international quality standard in terms of content and training methodology.
The introduction of a common European training path and evaluation system for ADR drivers is crucial for the sector and its users.
The ADR project activities also foresee 5 transnational meetings in partners countries, national and international workshops with ADR drivers and stakeholders of the sector.
